  • The Quatering Act established that British soldiers would stay in America. Whether that be in their houses or in big cities they would stay in America to watch the U.S citzens which were under British rule at that time.
  • Stamp Act
  • The Writs of Assisstance allowed any British Soldier to suspect and chack on someone if they felt that there was any threat of smuggling or crime. This was done so that the rate of smuggling would go down and the British would keep remaining powerful.
  • Declatory Act
  • We have to follow all british laws from now on
  • The Sugar Act was when the price of things like sugar and molasses was increased for the British benefit. This was to again stop the smuggling of sugar and mollases but it also banned things like the imporation of rum.
  • Townshend Acts
  • Mom were out of tea
  • The tea is way too expensive now we can't afford it
  • The Stamp Act was an act passes by King George that taxed all Americans on things that required stamps like books, papers, and official document. This act made the Americans very mad and caused a lot of protest from the Americans

  • The Declatory Act stated that the British could make laws on the Americans under all circumstances. Most if not all of these laws would benefit the British and really hurt the American economy, army, and trading.
  • The Townshend Acts would but strict taxes on common things like glass, lead, and teas. This was to show the American loyalty to the powerful British King however many Americans were mad that they kept getting so many taxes
