- Three Days and nights Later near the city of nineveh
- Somewhere in the Northern Kingdom of Israel, 3rd century BCE
- You know who we haven't written a story about? Jonah son of Amittai. You guys remember him?
- Oh right! Wasn't he a prophet in the Northern Kingdom during the reign of King Jeroboam II?
- Alright alright!! I'll go to Nineveh!
- Oh! Yeah, I like him! Let's use his name. This way we can give our story some authenticy; and, we can make a story that relates to God's compassion and mercy.
- "Get up, go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim to it the message that I tell you.” (Jonah 3:2)

- “Forty days more, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” (Jonah 3:4). There, I said it. Bye!
- Wait... WHAT?!?!
- "Go at once to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before me.” (Jonah 1:2)

- I'm getting out of here!!
- Your majesty Jonah just passed through town and prophesied: “Forty days more, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”
- Human beings and animals shall be covered with sackcloth, and they shall cry mightily to God. All shall turn from their evil ways and from the violence that is in their hands. (Jonah 3:8)

- Who knows? God may relent and change his mind; he may turn from his fierce anger, so that we do not perish.” (Jonah 3:9)
