- He travels to the British school for the deaf

- He then travels to France

- *Thomas sees his neighbors deaf son and wants to help him, he gets the idea that he wants to come up with a way to help many other deaf people*
- He goes back to America with Laurent Clerc
- *Thomas travels to the British school for the deaf but they are very stuck up in their ways and refuse to help him*
- They build the school for the deaf
- *He travels to France, and there he meets Laurent Clerc, a French man who is willing to help him with his ideals and build the first school for the deaf in America*
- The end !!!
- *He goes back to America with Thomas Hopkins Galludet, and they start planning to build the first school for the deaf in America*
- *They build the first school for the deaf in America named Connecticut Asylum for the Education and Instruction of Deaf and open it April 15th, 1817!!*
- *Many students attend the School and They Learn a way of signing more commonly known now as ASL, and its still impacts us to this day.*
