- Romeo's new marriage gets interrupted by the feud between the Capulets and the Monatgues. Mercutio and Benvolio are walking when suddenly Tybalt appears and wants to fight Romeo. Mercutio doesn't let Tybalt disrespect his friend so he fights him instead and Mercutio dies. Romeo isn't happy and Kills Tybalt and is later exiled. The two families do not get along and they are constantly fighting. The theme of this is revenge. It's revenge because Romeo goes after Mercutios killer and kills him.
