- Jane meets with her advisor who walks her through the new UK CORE, where students are only required to take three classes and get to choose the rest.
- When the semester starts, Jane moves to UK and takes standard Writing and Foreign Language classes, but travels around the city and state for her Humanities class.
- Jane has just been accepted into UK! She is excited to go to orientation to schedule her classes for the semester, but is exploratory since she still isn't sure what she'll be majoring in.
- I can't wait to see what classes and opportunities I'll have at UK!
- I hope I figure out what I want to major in...
- Students here are only required to take three classes: Foreign Language, Humanities, and Writing. Do you want to take these at UK, by traveling locally, or abroad?
- I want to travel so I can be exposed to new ideas, but I can't afford abroad. Maybe I'll travel locally!
- I love my classes! It's interesting to see all the different cultures and traditions right here in Kentucky!

- Jane's Humanities class visits the local art museum to learn about art history. She enjoys the visit, but unfortunately, art isn't for her.

- Her class also visits local restauraunts to explore different cultures, but Jane isn't interested in this either. She does make a new friend, Jack, though!

- But when Jane's class tours the local government building, Jane realizes she really enjoys politics! She has finally found her true calling.

- I met so many new people through my classes this semester, and I finally figured out what I want to do!
- As the semester comes to a close, Jane reflects on her experience. Because she got to travel and experience new things, she was able to find her major and some friends!
