- In California there was 150,000 Native Americans still roaming the coastlines and the deep forests that it had once beheld. They were at that time underneath Spanish rule, but that was going to change soon enough.
- Our land is beautiful and is all natural. We're self sustainable and our future looks bright!
- The discovery of gold would lead to the event known as the "Gold Rush" Thousands would be moving west, pushing out the Native Americans and building a home where they would shift for gold and work until they struck rich.
- I have found gold in the river! I'm gonna be rich! The press needs to hear about this
- The gold rush would later push out nearly all native life and fill the streets with "modern" and more greedy forms of life. This would feed the rich and the ones who struck gold. But if you came to California and did not strike rich, well it would be difficult to find a job after hundreds of thousands move west.
- This discovery has made me rich! I sold so much equipment to desperate miners and now I run a monopoly! What would I do without this wonderful life?!
- I bought equipment and hired people to work for me! I now have all the money I could need!
