- Boy it sure was a good harvest this year.
- Inciting Incident
- I can't wait till next years harvest, but for now it is time for the earth to rest.
- Rising Action
- Let's check close on where he goes this week and on Saturday, when he's on his errand we'll see what he's hiding. Whadda you say?
- Good'nuff. Let's hope he doesn't catch on to us.
- The story takes place around the end of September and the beginning of October on a farm grove. We get introduced to the main character Don Trine.
- Climax
- The feeling of the earth at rest is fascinating.
- We find out that some kids have seen Don Trine take long walks around the grove lately and doesn't let anyone come with him, which sparks curiosity and leads the kids to speculate what he is doing daily on these walks.
- Falling Action
- Thats so weird, it's like he was burying himself.
- The kids hatch a plan to try and follow Don Trine and try to figure out what he is doing on his walks.
- Resolution
- I get it now Don.. I wish I appreciated and you more while you were alive. . .
- The boys find out that Don Trine goes on a walk, then digs a hole and "buries" his arm in it.
- The boys told everyone else in the groves and they all were were confused and thought that Don Trine was crazy.
- The next day one of the boys went alone to try and figure out exactly it was Don Trine was doing and realized that he was feeling the warmth and movement of the Earth. He from then on continued to repeat the process, even after Don Trine died.
