- from there I enter the small interstine .The liver sends BILE JUICE to gall bladder which holds till I arrive. Tiny finger like projections called VILLI absorb my molecules.The left over fibres and water enters into the LARGE INTERSTINE.
- The BOLUS then move down to a long tube called OESOPHAGUS. The peristaltic movement of oesophagus squeezes bolus to my next destination called STOMACH.
- From here the food will enters into the stomach. In stomach, GASTRIC JUICES Present. There are 3 types of gastric juices .HCLMUCUSPEPSINMain functions of HCLl is to disinfect the food .mucus protects the inner lining of the stomach . Pepsin is present in inactive form of pepsinogel and further PROTIENS get brokendown into peptones.

- All the left over waste is compacted and stored at the end of LARGE INTERSTINE called RECTUM. Water and other fluids are released.
- The waste then passes out of the body through an opening called ANUS. And this long journey the digestive system finally ENDS.
