Testo Storyboard

  • THE LAST LEAFby: O. Henry
  • Art and fashion are some of my favorite things.
  • Really? Omg, same.
  • I'm so sick I might die
  • "One day in a small city there was a village called 'Greenwich village' and two young women lives in the same building."
  • Johnsy had pneumonia and she has a very small chance.
  • She has a chance, if she wants to live.
  • Thank you so much. I'll definitely look after her.
  • Sue and Johnsy had met at a restaurant on Eighth Street, they discovered that they had the same interest and tastes in art, the same kind of food and clothes. So they decided to live and work together.
  • Hey! I'll always be here for you. I think you should take some rest.
  • I'll be back. I'll just see Mr. Behrman and ask something.
  • "Five," "four," "three," and "two," They’re falling faster now.
  • I'll probably die when the last one falls.
  • On a cold winter night, the disease pneumonia attacked the village, affecting the entire community as well as Johnsy, who became critically ill.
  • Mr. Behrman died of pneumonia today in the hospital.
  • Look out the window, Johnsy, at the last leaf on the wall. Didn’t you wonder why it never moved when the wind was blowing?
  •
  • No, Sue.
  • One morning, the doctor explains to Sue that Johnsy might die because of her illness. After the conversation, Sue went to Johnsy's room with her painting materials.
  • Would she be able to recover?
  • Sue began to work. Johnsy was looking out the window and counting backward. Johnsy was counting down the leaves, hoping that she would fall too when the last leaf fell. Then Johnsy fell asleep, and Sue went to Mr. Behrman to ask if he could paint for Johnsy.
  • Johnsy was getting better, and Sue told her the truth about the last leaf outside the window. Mr. Behrman died the night after he painted the leaf on a cold night. He did it to give Johnsy hope in life again.
  • It is Behrman’s great masterpiece—he painted it there that night when the last leaf fell.
  • Oh my, I feel sorry for him.
