Testo Storyboard

  • Domestic violence can be both mental and physical. It is a repeated behavior to gain power in a relationship. It includes any repeated attempts to frighten, hurt, manipulate, or humiliate someone in a relationship. Domestic violence can happen to anyone of any age, race, religion, or gender. Domestic abuse is typically manifested as a pattern of abusive behavior toward an intimate partner in a dating or family relationship, where the abuser exerts power and control over the victim. Domestic violence has severe negative impacts on the victim's negative and physical health. It is the leading cause of death, illness, and disability for women under 45.
  • You don't even listen to me, what are you good for?Beating you isn't good enough, you don't deserve anything
  • Studies show that living with domestic violence can cause physical and emotional harm to children and young people in the following ways: ongoing anxiety and depression, emotional distress, and eating /sleeping disturbances. This also harms a child's emotional and physical development. Children exposed to violence are more likely to have difficulty in school, abuse drugs or alcohol, act aggressively, suffer from depression or other mental health problems, and engage in criminal behavior as adults, whereas others may feel insecure living in their own house.
  • My father is the worst! How can he do this to mom knowing she is carrying my baby brother? He is so selfish, Are all men like this? THIS HAS TO END TODAY!! NOW!!
  • Women often make up the majority of victims of domestic abuse, and women frequently endure more severe kinds of violence. Domestic abuse could be accepted or even legal in some nations. The degree of gender equality in a nation and the prevalence of domestic violence are positively correlated, according to research. For instance, domestic violence is more prevalent in nations where there is less gender equality. Children, adolescent females, and newly-wed women are often the most affected groups.
  • Domestic violence frequently happens when the perpetrator feels entitled to, accepts, or is unlikely to be reported to authorities. The subsequent generations could perpetuate a cycle of violence as a result of feeling that such brutality is acceptable. Because they may view their experiences as family fights gone awry, many people may not recognize themselves as abusers or victims. Other frequent factors include drinking or using drugs, attitudes that violate women, living in rural locations, and men who believe they are more strong and women are weak.
  • When I was my daughters age, my father told me women don't deserve respect and the only way to discuss something with women is to get physical. Thats what did with mom, but why does my wife find that such an issue?
  • Some recurrent global issues of domestic violence comprise of acid attacks, shame/harm done to a female’s body, foot binding, and force-feeding (this is the practice of forcefully feeding girls from as young as 5 to 19 years of age; started in countries where obesity was by tradition regarded as desirable), forced abortion, forced marriage, and raptio (this is a Latin term for the abduction of women for disturbing purposes).
  • Speed up woman!! You still have to eat all this food. Are you going to let all that go to waste???
  • NO! This force-feeding HAS TO END TODAY....NOW!! Feeding me more will give me chronic health problems.
  • It's vital to know this is a major issue because it has a significant impact on the general health of individuals by causing physical injury, anxiety, depression, impairing social skills, and increasing the probability that they will engage in harmful practices (e.g. self-harm/substance abuse). The more we talk about domestic violence, the more likely we'll build awareness, identify abusive behaviors, and take action to prevent harm to people in our communities. Victims must remember only 1 thing: if you think you are being mistreated in such a way(s), ASK FOR HELP! Either file a complaint or talk to someone who may be able to help (parents, lawyers, crisis counseling)!! You can also call 000 or 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732).
  • Since the assaults were quite serious in nature, the accused will face jail time. The Violator is pronounced guilty and hereby sentenced to 17 years.
