- Beowulf hears of a monster terrorizing Heorot named Grendel the monster is said to start his murder sprees at night. He is eager to help and be able to fight this monster as he has fought many monsters before.He goes to Heorot and tells them how he will help them deal with the monster who has been terrorizing them for 12 years. He brings some of his men and they wait for where Grendel usually attacks. Beowulf full of pride says he will fight the monster the same way it fights, with his hands. People around him are shocked and some skeptical but his confidence was contagious. Nightime comes and Grendel shows up he kills one man before he goes for Beowulf. When he reaches for Beowulf he grabs his arm and wrenches it from the monster. Grendel lets out a scream and retreats to the woods. where he dies.
- Although Grendel was no longer a problem the people of Heorot were not yet safe. Grendel's mother is filled with rage when she learns of her sons death and when night comes she heads to Heorot. She goes to where the danes are sleeping and breaks in waking up the men. They get their weapons but she is quick to leave taking the mayors closest friend with her. Beowulf sets out to hunt another beast soon after his first victory. This time he wears his protection and is given a weapon. He goes into the forest after her looking for her den. Some are skeptical but Beowulf goes in to her den alone.
- While approaching Grendel mother realises she is being followed and grabs beowulf. She hold him in a way where he is unable to use his weapon at all. She is trying to stab at him but since he wore his vest this time she is unable to do much damage. Beowulf finally got free and was able to shoot just once aat grendel's mother striking her in the chest. When he saw this did nothing he knew he had to aim for something more exposed. He gets into a close fight and loses his gun getting tossed to the ground, however he sees the gun of the man she had kidnapped. He waits for her to get more cocky thinking hes unarmed and then he finishes the monster.
- A man was on the run from people who had him captured. While running he found a cave and thought he could hide out there for a while. When he was looking through the treasures that he stumbled upon when the dragon appeared without thinking he immediately ran out of there and went to the nearest town. He soon realized he had not dropped the treasure he was looking at but figured he could sell it and make some money. The dragon however who had seen him run with the treasure it was protecting went looking for the man. He went to towns burning through homes in hopes to find the treasure which is when Beowulf hears of the dragon.
- Wiglaf came to help Beowulf but was quickly charged at by the dragon Beowulf helped move Wiglaf from the dragons path. At that moment Beowulf took a shot at the dragons head but was unable to do any damage. After this the dragon who was filled with rage charged Beowulf biting his neck filling him with poison. Wiglaf saw this and charged the dragon with nothing but a small blade, luckily the dragon was distracted and Wiglaf was able to hit the dragons vitals making the beast fall.
- Although Beowulf and Wiglaf had successfully killed the dragon, Beowulf was poisoned during the battle and would not live to mke it out the cave. Wiglaf sat beside him while the others who were too afraid to help him before stood and watched in shame. Before Beowulf passes he told Wiglaf about the arch he wanted built in his name where people would remember him by. When Beowulf knew he was soon to die he gave Wigaf his badge to remember him by knowing Wiglaf was loyal to him until the end.
