This storyboard is based on the article "Bomb Suit" by Mark Boal. This is the opening scene from the article which would be the perfect start to a biographical film on Mark Boal. In my rendition of this portion of the article, it would make the audience feel like they are in the chaotic streets of Baghdad. It would also present Boal as a very cool, calm, and collected individual which is what he projects throughout the article.

Establishing location with a pan shot of the Iraq desert
Opposite the direction of the pan comes a caravan of military Humvees causing the camera to abruptly changethe direction of the pan shot
Cut to overhead shot following the Humvees
Blackhawk helicopters fly overhead as the camera zooms in on one of the Humvees
Camera cuts to the two military men from a dashboard angle in the car
The passenger is visibly excited while the driveris concerned
Passenger eagerly grabs a radio and brings it to his faceas the camera cuts to a close up shot
The man speaks in a heavy southern accent loudly through the radio in joking manor to someone else in another Humvee
Camera returns to the dashboard POV showing the two men
بغدادBaghdad
A man returns the call over the radio talking aboutthe IED in which the caravan is en route
The man over the radio makes a joke resultingin a hearty laugh from the two men in the shot showing how calm they are in thishigh pressure situation
Camera cuts back to the overhead tracking shotof the caravan heading into Baghdad
Humvees are shown racing through the crowded streets of Baghdad with rapid cuts of overhead shots
This sequence ends in a central framing shot with the Humvees coming toward the camera through morecrowded streets
The lead Humvee comes to a stop and the passenger immediately gets out. The camera follows him with a lateral tracking shot
As the shot continues, there is a noticeable emptinessin this part of the city as there are no background characters cluttering the streets
The lateral tracking shot ends when the man gets to a group of officers who are discussing the IED
The camera slowly zooms into an eyeline matching shot as the man greets the officers. He pats one of them on the back remarking as if he's been in this situation many times before. Then the title sequence comes onto the screen
