- New inventions like cars and planes were very useful. letting people get places faster, and allowing them to live farther away from work.

- Canada also discovered new activities. Most of these included: picnics, art, corn roasts, clam bakes, horse races, etc.
- Because of the war, people were skeptical with immigrants that lived in Canada, which sent many of them back to their own country. after this problem, they lowered immigration policies and tried to attract more people.
