- "Hey Doc! Yeah, I don't know it's really weird, something must be wrong because there was blood in my poop, I've been feeling tired all the time, my stomach seems to be turning on itself and I have lost a lot of weight."
- "Hmmm, I think I might have an idea of what's wrong, let me run some tests. I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through that!"
- "A colonoscopy is when the doctor will use an endoscope, inserted into my rectum, to look at my colon, right? "
- "Yes, that is correct. "
- "If I can just have you fill this cup up with a stool sample we will perform some testing. After that we will draw some blood for testing and bring you to a special room that will allow a CT scan to be done and then a doctor will perform a colonoscopy. "
- "Alright! All your testing, including the colonoscopy should be complete!"
- 3. "What in the world?? How did I get that?! Can it be treated?! Am I going to die?!"
- 4. "Well the exact cause of Crohn's is unknown though it is believed to have something to do with genetics and autoimmune disease. Although Crohn's can't be cured, lifestyle changes can be implemented to maximize your quality of life and largely decrease flare ups and complications with the disease."

- 1. "Your colonoscopy, CT scan, stool test, and blood test indicated that you have moderate inflammation in your colon in your large intestine. "
- "Thanks to my doctors advice, I stopped smoking, I've been eating healthier, and exercising more and I haven't had any flareups or symptoms that have large affects on my day to day life! I've been AMAZING!!!!"
