- The ZigZag shown as a road, shows the struggle for rights that has been a process. It's had it's ups and downs and goods and bads. It's never been perfect or had a straight solution.
- Brown v. Board of education
- From what to the slave is 4th of July shows that throughout history, African Americans have been denied freedom on many different occasions in many ways. Although they may have been perceived as equal their freedom was not free.
- The Social Dilema
- After the Civil War and Lincoln's Second Inaugural address, the main focus was to rebuild the nation and bridge the gap that the Union and the Confederacy had created. So, with that, the tide was set to allow slaves to be completely freed, as they were not in the south before.
- With the schools only being somewhat "equal" the case of Brown v. board of education came about. The case ruled that these "separate but equal" schools violated the 14th amendment and we're completely unfair.
- The main point of the Social Dilemma is that large Social media companies control a large part of a person's everyday life through things like manipulation and getting you addicted. This is essentially a universal struggle that makes it hard to stay free of the grips of social media.
