- After Laughing at Curley. Lennie is terrified of Curley for the fight about to happen.

- George help I can't do anything please stop him.
- The fight occurs and Lennie is getting beaten up by Curley ad Lennie encourages Lennie.
- Lennie Let go of his arm!
- The fight gets worse as Lennie is hit in the eye and his stomach and starts to bleed but he is able to take Curley's hand
- George I can't.
- That little rat needs to be stopped! And I will.
- No Slim, Keep getting him George!
- Slim gets involved and wants to stop the fight but George says no. Meanwhile Curley gets his hand injured.

- George We need to take him to the hospital immediately.
- The fight ends. Lennie is severely injured and Curley sees his hand crying. Slim now wants to get Lennie to the hospital as soon as they can.
- George you told me to. I didn't want to hurt him.
- Lennie and George are getting ready to head down to Soledad with Carlson.
- Alright we need to get Carlson to get the wagon hitched up and take him up to Soledad to fix Lennie up.
- Alright we need to hurry fast and get Carlson.
