  • Hey Class! Today is career day so I got my friend, Mr. Morrison, who is a lawyer to come in and talk to us about his profession. Aks him any questions you may have on the subject.
  • Hey what's up class? My name is Mr. Morrison, and I am an abroad lawyer who works in Mexico. And I am so excited to answer any questions yall have, so lets get started!! You young lady in the front, what is your question
  • What education requirements must you have to become an lawyer?
  • Do I have to go to college for four years to become a lawyer?
  • Now that's a great question!! There are several things one must go through before they can even practice law. 1) Graduate High School2) Graduate college with bachelor's degree 3) Take and pass the LSAT exam 4) Go to law school for three years 5) Pass bar exam After all that then you become a licensed attorney. And if you want to stay up-to-date on the practice, you can continue to go to school. Alright, young man in the front what is your question?

  • Great Question! Yes, there are several specializations in this legal filed. In total there are twenty-one fields of law. Each branch is defined by its unique jurisdiction, principles, and applications, ranging from the intricacies of intellectual property law to the societal impact of criminal law. Diversity within the legal profession offers prospective lawyers a broad spectrum of career paths, each with its own set of challenges and rewards. Two commonly known laws are criminal law and corporate law.Next Question!!
  • This is kind of a personal take on the matter, but I really enjoy traveling. It is a hobby I want to continue till I die. Can one become a lawyer and still have time to travel a lot?
  • Becoming a lawyer comes with many perks, one of them being vacation time. Or if you'd rather take a bigger step into traveling and becoming a lawyer you can follow my footsteps. Like I said before I am an abroad lawyer. This means I live in a foreign country and am still able to pursue the career I love, a lawyer. There are many perks in becoming an American abroad lawyer. By immersing myself indifferent legal systems, I broaden my professional expertise and I also gained valuable global perspective that can distinguish me in the legal market. I also sharpened my adaptability and communication skills.
