- Save our Kingdom Oedipus!
- We need to find the murderer to lift the curse!
- Fret not, I 'll find the murderer.
- You're the murderer, and you're his son! Now we shall all fall!
- The people of the kingdom gather around, while Oedipus's assures everyone, the Priest speaks about how their kingdom is in grave danger and they need answers to how they can save Thebes.
- Oedipus sent Creon to speak to Apollo's Oracle, and returned saying how something is causing pollution and misery throughout the Kingdom. That they need to find a Lauis's murderer and expel them.
- We had heard of a prophecy, and we did have a kid. We killed him though, so don't fret.
- Oedipus promises to find the murderers, and goes to ask the prophet for help, but he refuses. Saying how if he told anything, it would only make the sitatuion worse, but he eventually tells him that Oedipus is the murderer. That he is also the King's son.
- It was not me, and I will prove it.
- Oedipus refuses to believe that Prophet's declaration, and accuses Creon and prophet for trying to overthrow him as king. Creon tries to defend himself though as he states on why he would never do such a thing and why he would never want to be king.
- I would never commit such an act!
- Jocasta is angered when she sees the two arguing, but when she hears of why they were fighting she blames the prophet. Saying how although yes, the previous king and her had a child, they successfully murdered the baby after they heard a prophecy, and she tells Oedipus to not worry about that.
- Oedipus explains though that he was prince of another Kingdom and how he thought that deep down that his parents weren't his real ones. So he traveled to the oracle to ask, and Apollo told him his prophecy. One very similar to the prophet's prophecy, but when the queen mentioned an important detail about the king's murder. Highwaymen supposedly attacked them, a group of men killed him, so he must've been innocent.
