- The narrator lives with the old man he takes care of the old man . But its something about the old man that bothers , its his eye it looks like a vulture eye .This eye bothers him so much he begans plotting to murder the old man. After he murders the old man the police show to investigate.
- Climax
- The narrator is a sane man he try to convince us and himself he isn't sane with this plan to kill the old man but all it does is prove he's more sane. The narrator wants to kill the old man because the old mans eye bothers him , the eye causes his insanity .
- Falling Action
- Then...
- Since the old mans eye bothers him so much he everynight the narrator sneaks to the old mans room and shines his lilver latern light on the old mans eye but it seemignly is always close but one night he comes to sneak in the room and the old man is awake. The old man groans and the light shines on his face .
- Resolution
- On the eighth night...
- The light shines on the old mans pale blue eye and it triggers the narrator .He then hears the old mans rapid loud heartbeat , the narrator gets scared the neighbors will hear the sound so he decides to kill the old man by suffocating him , then he " smartly " dismembers the old mans body parts and place it under a plank in the old mans room . And clean everything up .
- The neighbors hear something and call the police , the police show up and the narrator lets them in . He belives that his calm simple manner has convinced them , after they walk in the narrator sit exactly on the spot where he hid the old mans body .
- As !they are talking the narrator starts hearing a familiar sound ( the old mans heartbeat) . He becomes paranoid and thinks the officers know everything .Soon enough he starts to hate the sound , so he finally confess to his crime and he shouts "Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed!--tear up the planks!--here, here!--it is the beating of his hideous heart!"
- BOOM...dada...BOOM...dada...BOOM!
