- After being alerted by the Helper-T cells, the B cells arrive next. B cells originally mature in the bone marrow and produce antibodies. These antibodies lock onto foreign antigens which makes it easier for other cells in the immune system to recognize the foreign antigens and destroy them.

- We got the foreign antigen under control! Come and destroy them!
- --- Antibodies
- There they are! Go get the foreign antigen B Cells!
- Let me go!!
- Aha! I found the foreign cells! They will now be my lunch!!
- Next the Cytotoxic “Killer” T Cells arrive on the scene! Since the surface of the infected cells are now changed, the foreign invading cells are made obvious to the Killer T Cells. The Killer T Cells then quickly attack and kill all the infected cells and pathogen, which therefore prevents any further production of foreign cells.

- Those foreign cells were delicious!
- That's good, because I am stuffed from eating all those foreign cells!!
- Suppressor T Cells are up next! They are solely responsible for regulating the immune response in the body! After the infection has been cleared, the Suppressor T Cells are responsible for turning off the immune response!
- The Invaders are gone!! We can all stop and rest until the next invader! Our work here is done!
