- Hello, everybody. Today I will show and explain the 3 variables in an experiment where I'm dropping these different coloured balls from different heights to see how high they bounce.
- For this experiment our independent variable will be that we have to use the same balls in all the experiments.
- Our dependent variable is how high the balls bounce.
- And our control variables are how hard we drop the ball, how high we drop the ball from, and that we keep the same balls the same the whole time.
- The teacher put on the video and there's a science teacher in it.
- Firstly we're going to drop all the balls off this ledge.
- He is explaining what the independent variable is for the experiment.
- The blue ball bounced 10 meters, the yellow ball bounced 13 metres, and the red ball bounced 7 meters.
- He is explaining the control variables.
