Testo Storyboard

  • Hi there! Follow me through the journey of the water cycle! First up, we have evaporation. Evaporation is the process of which liquid water turns into gas. AKA, water vapor.
  • I’m flying!
  • My turn!
  • Right here we see the water turning into a gas, which is going up to the atmosphere. Evaporation is caused due to the heat of the sun or temperature.
  • After the process of evaporation occurs, the water vapor forms together to form a cloud. This process is called condensation. When the water vapor floats up to the atmosphere, the temperature cools, which turns the water vapor back into water droplets.
  • It’s so cold in here!
  • brrrrr!
  • After evaporation, precipitation occurs. Precipitation occurs when the water vapor in clouds form into water droplets. The water will precipitate down to the surface. Snow, hail, sleet, and rain are all part of precipitation.
  • THIS IS SO FUN
  • IM FALLING
  • Yeah!
  • After the forms of water precipitate to the ground, runoff occurs.Runoff is when water is on the land. The water will sometimes land in lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans.
  • That was fun!
  • Sometimes, the runoff water will go underground in porous rocks called aquifers. There are little holes in the rocks where the water goes in.
  • AHHHHHHH ITS A BLACK HOLE
  • HELP IM GETTING SUCKED IN!
  • This is not fun anymore.
  • Again?! I’m bored
  • Sometimes the water will get sucked in by plants. The water will travel up the plant and to the leaves, which eventually evaporates back into water vapor. This prov is called transpiration. The water cycle repeats all over again! It never ends!
