- I received a pipe of Amontillado.
- Amontillado? A pipe? Impossible! and in the middle of the carnival season.
- Its in my catacombs
- Where is the pipe?
- Its farther on.
- Where is the pipe?
- Montresors has had enough of Fortunato insults. He on his way to find Fortunato and try to execute his plan to kill Fortunato, Montresors met Fortunato and proceed to tell him he got a pipe of amontillado in order to bait Fortunato.
- They arrived at Montresors house. Montresors walk Fortunato to his catacombs farther on.

- They went in the catacombs. Fortunato are very tired and has been coughing. Montresors offered to stop and go back but Fortunato wanted to keep going to find the amontillado.
- Montresors hand Fortunato a bottle of wine but it wasnt the Amontillado, Fortunato starting to cough even more and Montresors is worry for him, but he wanted to keep going.
- They reached the end of the catacombs and Montresors told Fortunato to follow him to the next room, where the amontillado is waiting.
- After Montresors lure Fortunato into the little room, Montresors then trapped Fortunato with the chain atached to the wall and proceed to block him up.
