- At the Carnival, Montresor approached me and requested my help to find the Amontillado. I felt bad so I decided to help, I knew no one could compare to y knowledge and a simpleton like Fortunato and Luchesi wouldn't know the difference the Amontillado and canned beer.

- We had began walking again and we approached an area with lots of nitre that caused me to start coughing again so I was relieved when Montresor offered me a drink. I chugged it all down and made a gestured known by all Masons but I guess he didn't know what I was talking about Wich made me question who he was.
