Storyboard Szöveg

  • How Freud Sees Me
  • You should tell your mom that you failed your stats test-its better to be honest
  • I'll tell her that I failed, but I'll say I studied for hours so she won't be as mad at me.
  • No, definitely don't tell her. She'll just scold you and make you feel like a disappointment. She doesn't need to know
  • How Adler Sees Me
  • Love that you're making my experience an opportunity to get hammered tonight. You should be learning from my mistakes instead, little sis.
  • Oh, I'm so gonna tell Mom that YOU crashed her car if you don't convince her to let me go to Jake's party tonight
  • How Horney Sees Me
  • Well, you only live once! I could party with you guys every night until I can't walk anymore lol!
  • In reality, my parents never give me love or affection, so I spend my days partying with people to satisfy my need for it
  • Jeez, Shelby! I can't believe this is your sixth night in a row at the club! Be glad your parents don't know
  • Freud preached the psychoanalytic perspective of psychology or the unconscious motives and conflicts humans experience during development. This scene represents the three aspects of Freud's personality structure: Id, Superego, and Ego. Id, the devil on the right, represents the desire to gain gratification. Superego, it's counterpart, represents the socially acceptable/appropriate behavior. The Ego makes the executive decision to satisfy both parts.
  • How Rogers Sees Me
  • Ever since my parents' divorce, all I feel is complete and utter sadness. I used to mask my sadness through anger, but I can't deny my true feelings forever. I have to accept them eventually.
  • Alfred Adler believed that birth ordered impacted personality because children strive for superiority and power competitively against their siblings (unless you're an only child). My sister is on the left and I'm on the right. Younger children are perceived to be manipulative, outgoing, and social. Older children are responsible, reliable, and conscientious. The conversation represents the contrasts in our personalities and supports Adler's theory.
  • How Eysenck Sees Me
  • Yeah, I killed people cause they pissed me off. They were being annoying, so I did 'em a favor and cut the conversation short. I guess I get it from Mama and Pops
  • Guess I passed my emotional instability to my girl here cause she be killing the game out there (literally)
  • Horney believed that childhood anxiety stemmed from a child's need for security and love. In this situation, the girl received no love and affection from her parents, so she manifests that lack through constant socialization with other people. She embodied this partying lifestyle/habit to cope with the anxiety she developed as a child because of this love and security deprivation. She gains it through other people.
  • How Bandura Sees Me
  • Chelsea, ever since Shelby became a superstar, she's been acting really conceited and narcissistic. Like she wasn't self centered enough beforehand; now, she's a menace- 1000% worse
  • Hey everyone! I'm mega superstar Shelby! I'm so privileged to be here tonight so my fans can see me rock the stage
  • Carl Rogers specialized in the Humanistic perspective of development. His Person-Centered Perspective details the steps one should take to help further their personal growth. First, the girl is expressing her genuine feelings. Second, the therapist is speaking to her in a positive regard the entire conversation. Finally, the therapist empathizes with the girl by sharing her similar experience, meaning she can understand how the girl feels.
  • It's okay to be sad about your parents' separation. While I can't speak for you, my parents are also divorced so I can understand generally how you're feeling. Accepting your sadness is really good for your own personal growth. I empathize with your situation and will always be here to listen if you need someone to talk to.
  • Hans and Sybil Eysenck are most commonly known for the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, a detailed test designed to analyze parts of your personality based on two traits: extraversion/introversion and emotional stability/instability. The couple believed these traits were genetically influenced. In this situation, the daughter has a very high emotional instability level because her mother and father have it. She's demonstrating it through becoming a murderer in this case.
  • Albert Bandura focused on the Social Cognitive Perspective of development which involves analyzing behavior based on social situations and interactions with other people. Specifically, he coined the term Reciprocal Determinism which looks at how behavior, cognitive/personal factors, and the environment are impacted by a siuation.
  • Yeah I agree. Being around her makes me feel really self conscious and irrelevant- it's like nothing I say matters to her unless its about her.
