Something happened to Charlie, and since then they have had all kinds of problems and worries.
Some of these worries are to do with how Charlie, thinks and feels...
...some are to do with other people, places and memories.
Charlie came to the Rivers Centre. The staff there understand about Trauma and can help Charlie.
The Rivers Centre offers a new way of working with people who have experienced trauma, and we want to make sure that it does actually help people.
The Rivers Centre asked the researchers at the University of Stirling to find out. Over the next few years they will do something called an Evaluation.
First they would like to talk to you! To find out what kind of things you think it is important that the staff help you with.
What you tell us will be recorded, and then saved on our computer. Only our team can access this because we use a password.
They can do this in a small group, here at the Rivers Centre...
...or if you prefer, on your own, or with a friend, or someone else that might help you to feel comfortable.
The reserchers will use this information in a report that they have to write, but they will never use your name.
If you don't want to talk to the researchers you don't have to! And no-one at the Rivers Centre or at Home will be upset with you in anyway. You should only take part if YOU want to!
