- Once a long time ago there was a battle called, The Battle Of YorkTown. The battle started on Stember 28, 1781. The battle was 20 days long. It was a very brutal and miserable battle.
- There were 9,000 Soldiers on the blue coats side. There were 11,000 Soldiers on the red coats side.
- I have so many more soldiers than you!
- Uh no you dont, I do!
- The red coats lost their food sorce during the battle. That led too the red coats surrendering to the blue coats.
- We have to exit the battle field now!!
- George Washington led the blue coats to victory. Charles Cornwallis led the red coats to not victory. The war ended on October 19, 1781. It took them 2 days to rebuild and fix everything.
- In summery, the YorkTown battle was very brutal. At the end, George Washington did win the war. 88 soldiers died and 301 soldiers got injured during the fight. After the war, Charles Cornwallis did die due to a fever.
