- Queen Elizabeth was born in Greenwich palace on September 7. 1533
- She grew up in Hatfield House, Hertfordshire.this was one of her Family'sresidence throughout England. She has 4 siblings. She wasraised by her mom Anne Boleyn and her dad is Henry VII. She was only two years old when her mom beheaded her father
- Elizabeth was raised much like any other royal child. She received tutoring and excelled at languages and music.
- Queen Elizabeth I claimed the throne in 1558 at the age of 25 and held it until her death 44 years later. Elizabeth I was born a princess but declared illegitimate through political machinations. Eventually, upon her half-sister Mary Tudor’s death, she took the crown.
- During her Reign Elizabeth I established Protestantism in England defeated, theSpanish Armada During in 1588 maintained peace inside her previously divided country, and created an environment where the arts flourished.
- Elizabeth I died on 24 March 1603 at the age of 69 after a reign of 45 years. Many now believe she died by blood poisoning, but a post-mortem at the time wasn't permitted.
