The Problem
With so many domesticated pets, such as cats and dogs, not being neutered or spayed, they are able to reproduce at an alarmingly high rate. With a surplus of animals, many of them cannot find homes. Also, without strict leash laws, many animals are roaming the streets in various parts of the country.
How Can You Help?
There are so many ways to help!
First, educate people in your family, school, and town about the importance of spaying and neutering your pet. You can also write a letter to your town government explaining the importance of strict leash laws. Finally, you can volunteer at your local animal shelter, or donate anytime!
This Fundraiser
From May 10th until May 24th, you can bring in old towels or blankets for the shelter. You can also bring in food, toys, treats, and anything else that you think the shelter animals would benefit from. Another option is to donate money! Every little bit helps! Remember: if you are unable to donate now, we can always get your items to the shelter after May 24th! It's never too late!
