- Schatz went to his parents' room to close the windows. His dad noticed that his face was white and his body was struggling to move. Shatz explained that he had a headache. Concerned, Shatz's dad told him to go to bed.
- What's the matter, schatz

- Apparently, Schatz is not afraid of his father because he disobeyed the order. When the father came downstairs, the boy was dressed and sitting by the fire. Later, Schatz's father discovered that the boy had a fever, so naturally he called a doctor.
- You go up to bed.You're sick.
- #160;I'm all right
- In the room, the doctor took the boy's temperature and prescribed some medicine for the flu.Schatz's father stayed a couple of hours reading books and accompanying him, but the boy was not paying attention . Later, Schatz told his father that there was no need to stay if the situation was going to ''bother him later''.#160;

- #160;Schatz dad went out . It was a beautiful day, perfect also for the family dog. The hunt was strenuous, due to the ice, Schatz dad and the dog slipped. In the end they were able to flush out a flock of quail, kill two, and leave the rest for another day.
- Back at the house, Schatz's father was the only one allowed in the room. After a couple of words, the boy finally asked his dad what was bothering him since the doctor showed up.The whole scenario was a misunderstanding, Schatz was woried about the temperature that the thermometer was showing. His dad explained that some thermometers work in degrees Celsius and others in Fahrenheit. On those thermometers, 102 is a little above average and he was definitely not going to die at that temperature.

- Poor old schatz...You aren't going to die
- The day after the incident with the celcius and fahrenheit measurements. Schatz was feeling much better. Nevertheless he was very sensitive and cried over little things.
