- When at home, Laila organizes her time and takes advantage of the day to study so she can sleep at a set time, ready and fresh for the next day. On the other hand, Gary just slouches around all day, obliging him to work late at night, affecting his productive, motivation and effectiveness.#160;

- So noisy but I gotta study right now! Can't afford to waste time!
- Study hall is so boring, I'm gonna work at home.
- Laila is always much more pleased with her assesment grades than Gary, because her effort is consistent and all her choices are well made. The day of the book essay arrives, Laila studied many days and ensured to manage her time, with Gary cramming last minute. Gary writes while thinking, making mistakes in his essay.

- Laila is one of the many forms of a balanced student, while Gary is a realistic IB student to struggles to acquire balance of any kind. We all have our qualities, but at the end of the day, the choice is yours, are you a Laila or a Gary?

- Next is study hall, Gary is playing games with his friends, laughing at memes and wasting his time, while Laila prefers working at school and taking advantage of study halls to ensure she doesn't have to study as much at home, so she begins her essay outline, and revises her Spanish work.
- It's finally first break! In these 15 minutes, Gary watches his friends play basketball slouching on the bleachers plopping chocolates into his mouth one after the other and Laila gets active, as she goes to the library to join a new reading initiative and goes to play FOUR square with her friends from another class after enjoying an orange!

- The day progresses, and now it's time for Language classes, Arabic, Spanish or French before the school day ends. Each class was meant to have completed a few worksheets and read a story for homework, in her Spanish class Laila pulls out her work, while in his Arabic class Gary gets in trouble for not completing his homework.
