- I know, and i cant believe how they changed our government too.
- The 7 year war has a huge part to play in all of this, it acted as the snowball. Due to this war Britain needed money, so they taxed the colonists to try and rid themselves of debt.
- Tea party
- What happened last night at the harbor.
- A group of people threw the British taxed tea in the harbor.
- The British to try and climb out of war debt taxed the colonists. The colonists were very upset that they didn't have a say in parliament to counter the tax.
- Intolerable Acts
- We need to calm down the colonists. we should use the intolerable acts
- The British left the colonies sin salutary neglect for a long time, so the colonists had their own government and taxes. But, when the British needed money they stopped the salutary neglect to tax the colonists and change their laws and government.
- Freedom
- The Boston Tea Party was a act of rebelion against the British. What happened was a group of people stole the British tea and threw it in the harbor water.
- The intolerable acts were 4 potent laws meant to calm the colonists down, but it did the exact opposite.
- July 4th, 1776 the colonies published the declaration of independent, henceforth gaining their independence from Briton.
