- Not a real crown
- THE PRINCESSHello journal. I'm PATTY JEAN PIPER. That kid in blonde, that's me. And if you've not yet guessed that brown haired girl is Penelope Piper. Everyone calls her PENNY. Except I call her the princess! It is the ABSOLUTE PERFECT NAME FOR HER! She sits all day in her throne and tells the whole world what to do. When we go shopping, father wheels her along the aisle while I carry the boxes. I LOOK LIKE A BOX WITH LEGS! Mother and Father make us go to different schools. The princess goes to the new school right across the street while I have to ride HOURS ON A SCHOOL BUS TO GET TO MY SCHOOL. She does not have to wear a uniform like me.
- So, Penny how is your new school? I hope kids are not making fun of you.
- Ha! No one ever makes fun of the princess!
- It was summertime. And I could not go to summer camp. Mother and Father did not have any money to send me to camp as they bought new braces for the Princess' legs. The princess was in the backyard in the hammock, sleeping. The throne was next to the hammock. When I saw the throne empty, I had an idea! (Given Below).
- I have an idea! I will be the princess today! I will go around in the throne and live the life the princess lives!
- I rode down the hill near Princess' school. The hill was steeper than I expected. I fell down and hurt my knees. HOW DOES THE PRINCESS MANAGE THIS? Anyway, I have pushed the wheels so hard that I feel both my arms are broken. Grown-ups won't look at me. They turn their backs like I do when I watch a scary movie.
- Ohhh, why did I pull myself down the hill near Princess' school? My knees and arms hurt. AND NOW THE GROWN-UPS WON'T LOOK AT ME!
- When I came to a corner of a street, a group of boys came to me and started laughing. Their leader, MR. JERK FACE said something really mean! I threatened to beat him up, but they all laughed some more than ran away.
- HA!
- WHY DON'T YOU RUN ME OVER, WHEEL LEGS!
- HA!
- HA!
- The worst part of all, is that it started raining heavily. The throne got stuck in the mud and made it difficult to drag it out! I had never felt so cold and soaked in my entire life! I dragged the throne back home.
- THIS IS SO TOUGH! I'm so lucky that I have my napkin to keep my head dry.
- Father was calling loudly. I couldn't hear him because of all the trucks. "I'm sorry!" I said. "I didn't mean to mess up the throne!" Mother said it was actually called a wheelchair. She put me to bed and bathed me the same way she did for Penny. I asked Penny how she could be so happy all the time even though stuck in that yucky wheelchair. She said it takes her places. Hence, I learnt from Penny to always have a positive attitude. -The End
