  • Marji was upset and sad that she needed to leave her home and family behind, but she knew that her parents had the best of intentions.
  • The Big Goodbye
  • Flight 37820 to Vienna
  • Flight 817390 to Vienna
  • So Marji got on the plane and left.
  • Goodbye 
  • The Visit
  • As Marji looked out onto the city front of her new home, she noticed the blue sky, which didn't have any grey smoke or any ash falling. She felt a small feeling of safety.
  • Soon after Marji landed in Vienna, Zozo, her mother's friend, met her at the airport and walked her back to her home.
  • Oh, well I am sure you will love it here. And, your parents will come to visit very soon.
  • So, Marji, have you ever visited Vienna before?
  • 
  • No, I have not.
  • Yes, I'm sure I will.
  • A few days later, Marji went to her first day of school in Vienna.
  • It was the school her parents had told her about before she left.
  • Oh, this is a lot bigger then my last school back home.
  • The Search
  • Oh my! You are moving to Vienna?! This is great, we will be together again.
  • 
  • A few weeks had passed and Marji's parents had finally come to visit. Although, they had some bad and good news to bring.
  • I will, I promise.
  • WHAT!! What does this mean? Are you moving to Vienna?
  • So mom, what did you have to tell me?
  • Well, we are trying to move. There are a few more steps we need to take, but after that we are moving to Vienna.
  • Well, Marji, Tehran has been bombed completely, including our house, your school, and you're friend's homes. We are two of very few survivors.
  • Yes we will, but it may take some time. You must stay patient and we will be come back soon
  • Marji and her parents started to walk back to ZoZo's house.
  • Well Marji, grandma is going to stay in Tehran. It is her home and she refuses to leave. She will visit us though don;'t worry.
  • Dad? Is Grandma moving here too?
  • A Few Years Later
  • Marji, we also wanted to talk about something else with you.
  • 
  • At Zozo's house...
  • Well, your mother and I are going to move here very soon, but we can't stay with Zozo. We have decided to find a new place to live, a new house. And we want you to help us find the perfect one.
  • OKay?
  • I would love to help you!
  • Wow, this is the one. I hope we move here!
  • Well, I think we are going to take it.
  • OMG OMG OMG YAYYY
  • So, what do we think?
  • A few years later, Marji was on her way to college. She had been living with her parents for many yaers in Vienna. She is now ready to go out on her own.
  • Thank you mom and dad. I am so grateful for everything you've done for me. I will miss you at college but I will come home to visit soon.
  • Marji quickly made friends and graduated from University in 4 years. She was living her life to the fullest. She went on to follow her dream profession of being a chemist and married the love of her life a few years later.
