- Johnny had killed a socs because the socs's gang was drowning Pony boy so Johnny had stabbed him. They quickly think of something to do and then realize they should go to dally cause hes the only trust able one with this kind of stuff
- Johnny and Ponyboy go find Dally and tell him about the situation." You really killed him, huh, Johnny?" Johnny says yes and then Dally explains a plan to them on how to get out of town safetly. He tells them to go to the abandon church and get a week supply of food and he'll be up there as soon as its all clear
- Johnny and Ponyboy got to the abandon church that Dally told them to go to and hid for a little bit until its all clear then Dally will go get them and they cut their hair and change their looks so they arent gonna match the description that would be put out on the papers or on the radio.
