- "Got so many, starting a few years ago, we had the special machines built. With the optical lens, of course, that was new; the rest is ancient" (Bradbury 13). This represents censorship on technology because everything on the machine is outdated and old but the lens is brand new.
- "Neither of you is an M.D. Why didn't they send an M.D. from emergency?" (Bradbury 13). This represents censorship on society because instead of getting sent licensed doctors to his house to treat Montag's wife, they sent two random handymen with a machine to help.
- "You took all the pills in your bottle last night." (Bradbury 17). This represents censorship on relationships because Montag's wife, Mildred, purposefully overdosed on her pills and lies about it to Montag to cover up that she was trying to commit suicide.
- I'm pretty sure I'd remember it if I actually did it. I would never do something as foolish as that
