- When we was working at a ranch in Weed, Lennie grabs onto a girl's dress and won't let go. She gets scared and accuses him of touching her. George and Lennie are forced to leave Weed and find new work

- George and Lennie camp by a river before going to the ranch. Lennie hides a dead mouse from George that he killed because he petted it too hard. George makes Lennie Hand The Mice Over
- George and Lennie are hired to work on the ranch. Curley, the boss's son, Tries to imitate Lennie because he's bigger than himself and starts to pick on him.
- Let the big guy talk.
- While Lennie was looking after the puppy Slim gave him at the barn, Curley's wife comes in and they begin to talk. Curley's wife lets Lennie Touches her hair, but doesn't let go when she tells him to. Lennie panics and breaks her neck and Curley's wife dies
