Their buildings were bigger than buildings of Greece This new big style reflected the desire of rulers to glorify themselves as godlike monarchs. Society gained from this because there were new forms of art and buildings were bigger and grander. Also the mix of people merged their art which the Greeks art which led to better art.

- During this time there were many people who came together with different cultures. Cultures emerged that would blend Greek, Persian, Egyptian, and Indian culture together. People also assimilated or absorbed other people's cultures. This is good for society because it allowed for new ideas and it allowed for people to learn about other cultures.

- Alexander the Great was able to conquer most of the Mediterranean and the Middle East and this would affect the area for a long time. He was able to spread Greek culture throughout the land. Alexnder started a blending of many different cultures. This led to a new civilization the Hellenistic civilization. This impacted society because Alexander conquered a lot of lands which led to new cities being built and different cultures being blended together which led to new ideas.
- Woman were no longer restricted to their homes. Many of them could read and write. They were able to become poets and philosophers. Royal woman held considerable power and worked alongside the ruler. This was good for society because it allowed for more people to share their ideas and have more jobs and stuff done since before women couldn't contribute much.
- Pythagorean found out how to find the sides of a right triangle and made the Pythagorean theorem. Eucide wrote the Elements which was the base for modern geometry. This helped society in building and measuring.
- Aristarchus found out that earth rotates around the sun on a axis. Eratosthenes found that the earth is round. Archimes used physics in inventions like a pulley. This helped society because allowed them to learn more about earth and have new inventions that involve a pully.
- Hippocrates studied the causes of illnesses and looked for cures. He set a oath that contained ethical ethical standards, for a doctor, that said to help the sick without doing wrong. This helped society because it allowed them to understand more about sickness and the doctors will be more ethical with the oath.
