- Jason, did you know that there are little molecules called enzymes in our body
- Really? Well why are they there Adam?
- Enzymes speed up chemical reactions inside of us so we can digest properly and for our liver to function.
- There are 2 ways that the enzymes can be destroyed. 1 the rising of temperature causes them to just stop working. 2. If the pH level is to high or to low at it =s optimum hight then it will just stop

- Enzymes are not used up in reactions by it being bin to a substrate and catalyze the reaction. The enzymes is released and can be used for another reaction

- The active site is when the enzyme undergoes catalysis. The active site binds to the substrate. Substrate and enzymes fit together like a lock and key because their interaction causes a mid shift in the enzymes structure
