- They Summon the Others with the Conch
- *conch makes an extremely loud noise*
- I'm Johnny.
- I see a few people! What are your names?
- We are Sam and Eric, we're twins.

- I am Jack Merridew. The rest of my choir is over there.
- Who are you?
- But I am the MOST qualified. I deserve to be chief.

- I vote for the one holding the trumpet-thing!
- We need to vote for a chief, someone to decide how we should do things on this island
- We vote Ralph!
- Chief has Been Chosen
- Whatever. I will just be the hunter. That's a better job anyway.
- I guess I'm chief, then. I'm going to keep blowing the conch to see if more people show up.
