- The Sand Cat is about the same color of the environment it lives in (desert sand). The Sand cat is a good digger but prefers to steal its prey's burrows and make it bigger (and it gets a snack at the same time :)

- Fun Fact: Sand cats don't need that much water. In fact they could go weeks without it. They get all moisture they need from the prey they eat.
- The first observation Darwin made is that he noticed variation in a population which are caused by either mutations, gene flow, or sexual reproduction.
- Bleh. Look at all this fur on my paws. This variation is probably a mutation. I'm the only one with this much fur.
- Fun Fact: Sand Cats mating calls sound a lot like dogs, specifically a high pinched rasps of dogs like chihuahuas.
- At least now I don't leave any footprints behind. Now I can go anywhere without being seen or heard. Nobody will ever know where I am. Now I can escape predators and sneak up to my prey easier.
- Fun Fact: Scientist have long been trying to study Sand cats but they are so hard to find because they don't leave a mark." When humans approach they close their eyes to eliminate reflection and blend in completely with their environment. "
