- DNA is a tiny thing in all of our body, each part of it, is made of molecules. You can imagine DNA as very thin strings and the molecules composing them as legos. To give you an idea of theDNA’s width, it is as if we divided one millimeter into 100 000 pieces.It is thanks to our DNA that we are all different. If we all had the exact same DNA composed with the same legos bricks, we would all have the same hair, skin, eyes and so on. We wouldall be clones. Those differences are called alleles.
- Evolution is all the modifications of living beings during the time and the gradual apparition of new species. Those modifications take place in the DNA.
- Natural Selection : When a population is subject to a pressure like a predator or the heat for example, the animals less disturbed by this pressure because of their characteristics called genes are advantaged compared to others. As a consequence, they will progressively replace them since they survive in their environment unlike the disadvantaged ones.
