Sister Hekate, you could have joined us, what a lovely addition to our plan you would have been... sadly, you must go.
What a disgrace, may your journey to the Underworld Realm be especially hellish.
No... not like this... not like this....
Impossible...
She has channeled her auric energy!
S-Sophie?
Oh, but Josh. I'm not here to fight, I'm not here as an enemy... I want to talk to you. I know you feel... left out, without your powers. But, the Dark Elders can Awaken you and you can use your power for wonders! Think about all the global problems today, climate change, global warming; all of these can be fixed when we bring the Elders back. I promise you that.
You! You're the one who attacked me and Flamel at the bookshop! You're the one that destroyed Yggdrasil and Hekate with it!
Dee knew his plan well enough, he knew if he were to destroy the tree then he would be able to destroy Hekate with it. He thrust Excalibur at the base of the giant tree Yggdrasil. The elemental Sword Of Ice did not disappoint, ice crept up the tree and up to its leaves in a matter of minutes and then, without warning, the Yggdrasill turned blue and crumpled to ice, and so did Hekate.
They were cornered in a cave by a squad of cat warriors and a crow assassin who were hybrid animals, a mix between human and animal. With her newly awakened powers, Sophie single-handedly turned the tide of battle. While Josh, to her right, was confused and scared and Scatach, to her left, had drawn her swords. and Nick Fleming directly in front of her who was being held hostage by the Bastet. But, there was no need for Josh and Scatach help, nor did she fear a goddess, Sophie was powerful and she knew it.
Josh sat alone by the fountain staring into the water, the park was sad and lonely. A perfect setting where he can think, the park had little than a dozen trees and a few lampposts. He was alone, until he glanced up did he see the man standing in front of him was clad in black vest and a suit and was staring at him with those dark eyes that said, I know what you're thinking, don't do it, please.. He instinctively jumped to his feet and backed up. Dr. John Dee had come to pay Josh a visit.
