- the day i found out he had cancer, i was very upset.
- OH NO! IS HE GOING TO DIE? AHHHHHH
- I'm afraid to go to sleep, what if something happens to him? and i'm not there?
- days were vivid, and i had sleepless nights over the summer.
- i can't let this get to me, i need to go to school, i'll do this for me and him. he would want me to focus on school anyway.
- i had a hard time focusing on school, i would check my phone to see if he texted me back or not, no response. i would be failing, hardly in any of my classes.But i had to do it and pass.
- i took time to focus on my mental and distance myself from thinking of his health. I figured that mine was just as important to focus on. I had to take care of me and spend more time with my family.
- after 3 months of waiting for him i finally got a text message from him! i called him, and he told me he was cancer free, his hair was growing back and everything was okay.
- it was a very hard journey for me, but i really am happy that he's better. i've learned to take care of me overtime which was something i needed.
