- The dory was the mid-large range weapon used by the spartan it was their main weapon was about 7-9 feet long and was heald with one hand and was made from either iron or bronze
- Armor and shield
- The Kopis was the spartans secondary sword even though some preferred to use it as an alternative to the spartans main sword the xiphos the kopis was thicker than the xiphos and was used as an axe
- Strategy
- This small sword around 12-18 inches was used when their main weapon the dory a long spear was broken it was made from iron

- The aspi spartan shield was made of different layers of wood with leather in the middle and covered by a layer of bronze.The armor pieces included the Corinthian helmet made from a single piece of bronze The Linothorax made from linen fabric and ankle guards made from bronze
- The best know strategy used by the spartans was the phalanxes where they would raise their shield and cover half of the man beside them they would also raise their spear so the enemy how charged against them were impaled. Once the enemy charged they would push with their shields make an opening and attack with there spears
