I grew up in a middle class family. Father did not earn a degree, worked as a salesman and saw education as a must for all of his children. Mom earned a degree and was a music teacher. Finances were always tight and all six kids were on their own to figure things out.

I lived with my parents to save money and was constantly traveling between home, school and work.
Juggling work was difficult...when I was able to begin applying concepts I was learning on the job, things started to click.
The people that had the jobs I wanted all had degrees.
