- The scene starts off with introducing two sisters, Maxine and Ayla, and Maxine complains to her sister on how she doesn't know how to approach her crush, Francis. Ayla explains that she can help her out.
- EXPOSITION
- I have a crush on this guy, I just don't know how to talk to him.
- Every time Maxine tries to talk to Francis, she either gets extremely nervous and doesn't say anything, or he doesn't notice her at all.
- I can't do this...
- CONFLICT
- Don't worry, he goes to your school right? You can ask him out tomorrow!
- Ayla tries to come up with a idea, meanwhile Maxineis unsure whether or not she can successfully do so.
- Yeah....
- RISING ACTION
- Finally, Maxine gains the courage to ask Francis out, but he rejects her, claiming he doesn't like her like that.
- CLIMAX
- I'm sorry.. I just don't like you like that..
- Maxine is heartbroken by this, and Ayla tries to comfort her and tell her how great she is.
- I'm sorry, he just doesn't know how awesome and great you are.
- He rejected me....
- FALLING ACTION
- Eventually, Maxine gets over it and realizes she doesn't need a man if she has her homies with her.
