- One use of a cultural code used is actors performance is we see Leah wonder off in the wrong direction rather than go towards her teacher and classmates. We see that this may cause some distruption to her. A technical code of a close up of her face is used to show how amused she is by this and how it could lead her in this direction.
- One use of a technical code is a full shot showing the setting of this scene - we see a forest with two junctions that could either make Leah go the right way or the wrong way. One use of cultural code is the use of prop which makes Leah leave her group. The hedgehog runs away after getting scared and Leah ends up forgetting where she came from and is lost.
