- today we will be learning a lot of stuff so please pay attention. first we will talk about light dependent and independent. light dependent it collects energy from the sun and breaks down water molecules to produce ATP and NADPH. light independent is biochemical reactions in photosynthesis not requiring light.

- the next thing we will be talking about is ATP! ATP is the source of energy for use and storage at the cellular level. Does anyone know what makes ATP.
- Mitochondria makes ATP. Mitochondria makes the energy for the cell.
- Does anybody know what glucose is? Does anyone know what electon transport chain does?
- electron transport chain is composed of a series of electron carriers located in the inner membrane of the mitochondria
- glucose is sugar! it can also help with low blood sugar!
- chloroplast conducts photosynthesis and it also makes the pigment of plants that is why they look green. does everyone understand the lesson today.
