- The mother duck was happy to see her ducklings hatch out of their eggs and wanted to teach her ducklings how to be a proper duck but one of the eggs hasn't hatched yet, a ugly duck hatched out of a egg that was brown.
- What are you? you sure are ugly!
- The mother duck decided to love all of them the same, as she was teaching her ducklings how to be a proper duck in the pond. but the mother duck was embarrassedby the ugly duckling since it wasn't like the others.
- Go find yourself a family that will love you!
- In sadness, the ugly duckling went to family to family trying to fit in with them and was laughed at until some geese decided to keep him.
- My my your feathers are the whitest I have ever seen how they gleam in the sun!
- everything was going well for the ugly duckling until a hunter starting shooting the pond and scaring all the ducks away, until the man approached the ugly duck and told him that he was ugly
- The ugly duckling ran away and took shelter in a small house where a woman and her husband decided to take the ugly duckling for eggs to eat and after years the husband and woman decided to let him go.
- After returning to the pond the ugly duckling was sad and knew he would be rejected by other ducklings knowing that he is too ugly until then he finds himself the most beautiful swan with a elegant neck.
